Keawyed Creek

Keeping the ball left off the tee will give you a clearer view of the green for your approach. Favour the right side of the green with your approach to avoid the bunkers.

MacKenzie

A large two tier green here requires some consideration for positioning. Try and hit your shot onto the correct tier where the flag is placed and be sure to avoid the front left bunker.

Lake Surprise

Quite a sharp dogleg left to right. Short and left is a safer play. The Tiger line is right of the marker post with just a few small trees to avoid for the big hitters. The front of this green is well guarded with a large pond.

Left O'T' Rushes

A straight forward par 3 as long as you avoid the pond short and right. The green slopes from back to front and left to right.

Borsdane Edge

A short par 4 with quite a lot of room on the left side of the fairway. The green slopes severely back to front and leaving the ball below the hole with your approach shot will ensure an easier uphill putt.

Three Pits

A short par 5 that requires your full attention for the best score here. The hole doglegs left then back to the right near the green. If you are laying up short of the trees and pond be sure to leave yourself far back enough to give enough elevation to get over the trees. On your approach there is more space to the left of the green.

Pike View

On your approach into this par four green, remember to allow a little extra yardage for the fact that the green is uphill and on a plateau.

Sandy Hollow

The right half of the fairway is favourable off the tee to avoid the left hand bunker. Make sure you have calculated the correct yardage into this green to ensure a confident approach over the two front pot bunkers

Th'Owd Bridge

The left side of this hole is generally safer all the way down to the green. It’s an easier approach into the green with a clearer entrance from this side with everything sloping to the right.

Howfen Church

Trust the yardage and don’t be fooled by the illusion of the two short bunkers left & centre. The right hand bunker is more level with the front of the green.

Bowlands Hey

A short par four where once again position is more important than length. This hole slopes to the left all the way from tee to green. It’s imperative to consider this when playing into the green, especially when the ground is firm.

The Railway

This par three has two bunkers a few yards short of the green. It is a large green that slopes severely from back to front. Take note of where the flag is in order to calculate the exact distance & give you the best chance of a shorter putt on this sloping green.

Long Island

Be mindful of the out of bounds left although the fairway is a forgiving width. Ensure that you have enough club with your approach shot as there is a steep slope at front quarter of the green. Long pat 4 that plays into the prevailing wind.

Blind Brook

Knowing your own driving distance is very important on this left to right dogleg hole in order to choose the correct line for you. Being up the left side with your tee shot opens up the green nicely for your second as long as you are not too long to reach the trouble off the tee. Be sure to carry the ball far enough with your approach shot to avoid this false front green.

Th'Ump

A relatively forgiving fairway for your tee shot with only a grass mound to avoid. The trees get narrower with a penalty area also coming to play further down this hole. No greenside bunkers to worry about here.

Willow Bank

A short par four that may be tempting for the bigger hitters to drive the green. It is well protected by two greenside bunkers and another a few yards short of the green.

Wingates

You really need to consider your ideal landing spot for your tee shot here as it gets tighter as you get further down the fairway. Once again be mindful of the false front and allow enough carry to reach the flatter part of the green. This green also slopes from front to back so calculate that potential extra roll when playing your approach shot.

Back Wom

Keeping the ball in play is more important than a long drive down this hole. Beware of the greenside bunker illusion as they are around 20 yards short of the front of the green. Course boundary is close to the bottom of the green.
